Each block is $250, which includes:

• 6x Instructor Led Sewing Lessons (attended on your schedule)
  
• All fabric and materials for the first project in your block.
  
• Your personal progress folder, including project instructions and tracking sheets (kept at the studio)
  
• Full use of studio equipment — including sewing machines, tools, and supplies during class

If you're just getting started, you'll also need to take the Adult Learn-to-Sew Intro Class (Prerequisite.) Normally $75, it’s discounted to $50 when you purchase Adult Learn-to-Sew Block 1.

No problem at all! Our Adult Learn-to-Sew program is made for beginners—even if you’ve never touched a sewing machine before.

Just start with Adult Learn-to-Sew Block 1 and add on the Adult Learn-to-Sew Prerequisite class (you’ll get a discount when you bundle them!). Book the date for your prerequisite class right away.

Over the course of the program, we’ll guide you through everything—from threading the machine to sewing your first stitches—and you’ll complete three beginner-friendly projects along the way. By the end, you’ll feel confident using a sewing machine and have a skill you won’t forget—even if you only sew once in a while.

The Adult Learn-to-Sew program is designed to be flexible—you book your sessions based on your own schedule.

We offer multiple drop-in time slots each week, and you can attend any six sessions to complete a block. Come once a week, twice a week, or whenever it fits into your life. You’ll pick up right where you left off each time, with your progress tracked in your personal folder.

It’s sewing that fits your life—not the other way around.

Each block includes 6 instructor-led sessions, and how quickly you complete them is totally up to you!

Some people attend once a week and finish in about 6 weeks, while others come more often and move through the program faster. If you’re on a roll and finish your block quickly, you’re welcome to sign up for the next block right away and keep that momentum going.

It’s a learn-at-your-own-pace setup—with guidance every step of the way.

Yes—for consistency and to make sure everyone is starting with the same foundation, we require all participants to complete our 2-hour Adult Learn-to-Sew Prerequisite before continuing with the program.

However, if you’ve taken our previously offered Intro to Machine Sewing class at Main Fabric, you may be eligible for a greater discount—or even free access—depending on when you took the class.
