Refine Techniques, Build New Skills.
Block 2 is a continuation from Block 1 - Do not purchase this product if you have not completed Block 1. Learn more about Block 1.
In this 6-session block, you’ll learn essential sewing techniques while completing two projects: a pocket Tote Bag to practice your precision and structure, and a pair of stretchy Lounge Pants to introduce you to garment sewing. These projects are designed to teach the basics in a hands-on, encouraging environment—so you leave with real skills and things you’re proud to say you made.
This block is all about refining your technique and building new skills. By this point you will feel confident setting up your sewing machine and practicing straight stitches. This block focuses on precision sewing by attaching a pocket to your bag, along with an easy introduction to sewing with stretch fabrics through a lounge pant project.
