Hello, thanks for visiting! I'm Nakita. I moved to Dundas from Toronto just after my first daughter was born. While I was working my day job as a research scientist I would dream about the beautiful patterns and lovely fabrics that I had waiting for me at home. What I love about sewing is the freedom to enjoy fashion without the size constraints that the fashion industry puts on us. I'm relatively new to sewing but when I started I dove in - head first, learned fast, and found something that I am truly passionate about. Sewing your own clothes is freedom, sustainability, and creativity all wrapped into one rewarding hobby.
