Kids and Teens Sewing Classes
Classes Begin Fall 2025, Enroll Now
You’ve been asking—and we’re thrilled to finally launch our kids and teens sewing program! This hands-on series is designed to build real skills and confidence at the sewing machine. It’s a fun, creative way for kids to unplug from screens, engage with other great kids, and experience the joy of making something with their own two hands.
- Professionally developed, step-by-step instruction with hands-on learning
- 4:1 Student to teacher ratio, all instructors are CPR and first-aid trained
- Sewing lessons are designed for Ages 7+. Our kids programming is for ages 7-12 and our teen program is for ages 13-17.
- Start Here: Beginner Sewing - Unit 1 is our introductory 7-week program designed to build sewing confidence and foundational skills. Kids will independently sew 3 beginner projects.
- The program is growing! We’ll be introducing Unit 2 and additional seasonal or fun activities throughout the year, each featuring all-new projects and exciting new skills for your child to explore. Each new unit will run in 6-week sessions.
- 1.5-hour classes, held 1x week (after-school and weekend time slots)
- All classes are held in our Main Fabric Studio located at 43 Cootes Dr. Dundas, ON
- Classes start the week September 9th 2025
