Mend & More: Summer Craft Nights are a perfect activity for children and adults alike. People ages 7 and up are welcome. Children between the ages 7-14 can participate with a parent/guardian. Teens ages 15+ can participate on their own. 

Yes — and we highly encourage it! ✨

Feel free to bring garments or textiles you’d like to mend, embroider, appliqué onto, or creatively upcycle. Old jeans, jackets, tote bags, sweaters, napkins, kids clothing, or stained favourites all make amazing project pieces. We love helping people give existing items a second life through creative repair and personalization.

That depends on the craft you choose! You may mend and personalize garments, print custom fabric, create embroidered artwork, or embellish clothing and accessories with appliqué techniques.

Not at all! Mend & More is beginner-friendly and designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re completely new or already crafty, we’ll guide you through the process.

Note: You will not learn to use a sewing machine in class. All of these crafts are easy to do via hand-sewing, which you will receive guidance on.

Nope! You can attend whichever Monday nights work best for your schedule.

All sessions are held in the Main Fabric studio in Dundas, ON. The address is 43 Cootes Drive in the building that hosts another shop called Tessi & Co.

Yes! Additional crafts can be added at any time for $10 each.

Credits will expire on July 27th 2026.

We understand summer schedules can be busy, so this program is designed to be flexible and easy to manage. Participants may cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 12 hours notice using their own unique booking link.

Because spots are limited and materials/instruction are prepared in advance, cancellations made within 12 hours of your session (including no-shows) will forfeit that session credit. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep the program running smoothly for everyone. ✨

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own sewing machine to use during class. If you’ve been sewing with it recently at home, or it’s a brand-new machine and you just need a little guidance to get started, we’re happy to help you set it up and get sewing. Please don’t bring machines that aren’t working and need maintenance.
