The Nevis Skirt

For climbing mountains or pounding pavements, this walking skirt has two versions. A high waistband, pocket and button detailing ideal for utility cloths or a simple tie detail ideal for soft linens.

Fabric Recommendations: Mid-weight cotton canvas, 8oz organic sanded twill, corduroy, light-medium weight woollens and 7-10oz denim. We suggest using softer fabrics for the tie version to give a relaxed silhouette such as linen, tencel/linen, linen /wool blends.

Digital Files Included: Pattern files provided in both 4-A0 pages large-format and 63-tiled pages (6-18) or 73-tiled pages (18-28) print-at-home formats, plus detailed assembly instructions.

We ship within Canada through various shipping carriers. 

Shipping Domestically: Shipping costs are flat rate based on your total purchase price before tax. Shipping is free on orders over $150 CAD. Shipping is a flat rate of $12 CAD on purchases of $149.99 CAD or less. Express shipping rates are available on some packages. 

Shipping to USA: We are pausing all shipping to the USA due to the US de minimus exemption lifted (As of August 29, 2025, shipments from Canada to the U.S. valued under $800 USD will no longer be duty- and tariff-free under the U.S. de minimis exemption, unless the goods meet CUSMA (Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement) requirements).

For local sewers - Curb-side pick-up is free and is an available option at checkout. Customers will receive an email within 48 hours notifying them that their package is ready for pick-up. Customers must pick-up their package during normal store hours, bring order confirmation for proof of purchase.
