Overcoat meets duster. An oversized coat for striding through town and country with purpose. Choose to make either lined or unlined. The September works for a variety of seasons, in oilskin or wool it can be a proper winter coat, or in linen it feels like a casual throw on.
Fabric suggestions - dry oilskin, oilskin, mid - heavyweight linens, 7 - 12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. A heavier weight cloth will result in a more structured coat. For the lining, we'd suggest using Barrier Lining if you are using oilskin. You could also use cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, hemp/cotton, lightweight wools or a traditional slip lining.
Digital Files Included: Pattern files in sizes 6–18 or 18–28, provided in both 5-A0 pages for sizes 6-18 and 6-A0 pages for sizes 18-28 (large-format) and 78-tiled pages for sizes 6-18, and 108-tiled pages for sized 18-28 (print-at-home) formats, plus detailed assembly instructions.

| Digital Files + PDF Printout | Bundle your order for a discounted rate. You will receive the same as the Digital option with the addition of your pattern printed out on large format paper. You will receive notification once your pattern is ready to be picked up (usually 24-48 hours). That pattern can be picked up at our brick and mortar location or shipped to you. The total cost of this option depends on how many A0 size pages the pattern is. |
We ship within Canada through various shipping carriers.
Shipping Domestically: Shipping costs are flat rate based on your total purchase price before tax. Shipping is free on orders over $150 CAD. Shipping is a flat rate of $12 CAD on purchases of $149.99 CAD or less. Express shipping rates are available on some packages.
Shipping to USA: We are pausing all shipping to the USA due to the US de minimus exemption lifted (As of August 29, 2025, shipments from Canada to the U.S. valued under $800 USD will no longer be duty- and tariff-free under the U.S. de minimis exemption, unless the goods meet CUSMA (Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement) requirements).
For local sewers - Curb-side pick-up is free and is an available option at checkout. Customers will receive an email within 48 hours notifying them that their package is ready for pick-up. Customers must pick-up their package during normal store hours, bring order confirmation for proof of purchase.
