Mending With Kids shows you how to make kids' torn and stained clothes wearable again using a variety of simple sewing and decorating techniques that foster kids' participation. It includes helpful tips and techniques for patching, collage (with felt and fabrics), iron-ons, stenciling, darning, embroidery, hand-painting, and much more - including templates for making your own patches and stencils!

Nami Levy is a designer born in Nagano, Japan. She grew up watching her mother mend her clothes. When she became a mother herself, she started to repair and rejuvenate the clothes for them. In doing so, she explored fun and creative ways children can participate in mending their own clothes. Holder of Master's degree in Design from University of Tsukuba, Japan, she currently resides in France, where she studies book binding and restoration, extending her passion for mending and repairing.

We ship within Canada and the USA through Canada Post or UPS.

Shipping Domestically: Shipping costs are flat rate based on your total purchase price before tax. Shipping is free on orders over $150 CAD. Shipping is a flat rate of $12 CAD on purchases of $149.99 CAD or less. Express shipping rates are available on some packages. 

Shipping to USA: Shipping costs are flat rate based on your total purchase price before tax. Shipping is free on orders over $225 CAD. Shipping is a flat rate of $25 CAD on purchases of $224.99 CAD or less. Express shipping rates are available on some packages. 

For local sewers - Curb-side pick-up is free and is an available option at checkout. Customers will receive an email within 48 hours notifying them that their package is ready for pick-up. Customers must pick-up their package during normal store hours, bring order confirmation for proof of purchase.
