Is This Workshop Right for You?
This workshop is ideal for confident beginners and experienced sewists who are comfortable independently using a sewing machine and following basic sewing instructions. If you are interested in learning to sew please see dates for our Adult Prerequisite Class.
It's perfect if you love handmade Christmas décor, enjoy quilting or patchwork, and want to create a one-of-a-kind tree skirt that you'll treasure for years to come.
Make It Uniquely Yours
One of the most exciting parts of this workshop is making your tree skirt truly personal. While most participants choose quilting cottons, we encourage you to get creative by incorporating reclaimed textiles, meaningful fabrics, vintage linens, or cherished clothing into your design. Whether you're inspired by traditional Christmas colours or a more modern aesthetic, we'll help you bring your vision to life.
Materials
Fabric and supplies are not included. Before the workshop, you'll receive your selected pattern, a detailed materials list, and fabric requirements so you have plenty of time to choose fabrics and prepare. We'll also provide a complete supply list, including batting, backing, binding, thread, and any additional notions needed for your chosen design.
