Chrome plated. Medium ball point. Resists heat and wear. Stays cooler longer with less stitch distortion. Allows the thread to pass through the needle eye with less friction and less heat build-up. The tip is more rounded than the Universal needle and is designed to push the fabric fibres apart without cutting them, preventing the knit fabric from laddering or running after stitching.
