The Eve Trouser is cropped, with a slightly tapered leg and optional turn ups. It's an easy garment to make, fitting neatly at the waist and over the hips with a simple side zip and two back pockets. Choose to make pleats or darts into the waist seam.
Fabric Recommendations - Mid-heavyweight cotton canvas, as this keeps the structured shape. 8oz and 12oz twills are ideal. Other options would be corduroy, light-medium weight woollens and 7 - 12oz denim. You can use lighter weight cloths like linen and potentially a Tencel/linen but this will give you a softer silhouette.
Digital Files include: Pattern files provided in both 2-A0 pages large-format and 33-tiled pages print-at-home formats, plus detailed assembly instructions.

We ship within Canada through various shipping carriers.
Shipping Domestically: Shipping costs are flat rate based on your total purchase price before tax. Shipping is free on orders over $150 CAD. Shipping is a flat rate of $12 CAD on purchases of $149.99 CAD or less. Express shipping rates are available on some packages.
Shipping to USA: We are pausing all shipping to the USA due to the US de minimus exemption lifted (As of August 29, 2025, shipments from Canada to the U.S. valued under $800 USD will no longer be duty- and tariff-free under the U.S. de minimis exemption, unless the goods meet CUSMA (Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement) requirements).
For local sewers - Curb-side pick-up is free and is an available option at checkout. Customers will receive an email within 48 hours notifying them that their package is ready for pick-up. Customers must pick-up their package during normal store hours, bring order confirmation for proof of purchase.
