Little Stitchers - Beginner Sewing Unit 2

For young sewists ready to take the next step!

Unit 2 is the next exciting chapter in our Little Stitchers journey—designed for students who have completed Little Stitchers - Beginner Sewing Unit 1 and are ready to build on their machine sewing skills.

In this 6-week session, students will make two fun and practical projects:

• 🧵 A Reversible Apron
• 🩳 A pair of PJ Pants or Shorts 

These projects introduce new skills like sewing curves, working with elastic waistbands, and finishing seams—while reinforcing the foundational techniques learned in Unit 1.

Students must have completed Unit 1 to enroll in this class. All fabrics, thread, and notions are included, with fresh, never-repeated projects—and no additional purchases needed if your child already has their toolkit from Unit 1.

Class Format:

• One class per week for 6 weeks, 1.5 hours each day 

• 4:1 Student to Teacher Ratio
  

• Multiple day/time options available—choose what works for you

• Open to all genders, no experience necessary

Our kids sewing program is growing! We’ll be introducing additional levels + summer camps and day camps throughout the year, each featuring all-new projects and exciting new skills for your child to explore. Each new unit will run in 6-week sessions.

Deposit

• If purchasing prior to October 17th 2025 you can choose to pay a 50% deposit to secure your spot - the deposit is transferable (we can apply your credit to a different course) prior to the second payment on October 17th 2025. After the second payment is made - the deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable and your second payment is subject to our normal workshop policy and cancellation rules.

Don't forget to add your workshop dates to your calendar as soon as you have registered. About a week prior to your workshop you will receive an email outlining further details of the workshop including what you will learn, what you need to bring, and our cancellation policy. The email will also include our class waiver that will need to be signed online prior to attending the workshop.

At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them.

Full payment of the workshop is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate on their own in the workshop unless otherwise stated. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Participants between the ages 8 - 13 years of age can participate in the workshop as long as a paying adult participating as well. 

Cancellation policy 

• Full Refund: Available for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date.
• 50% Refund or Transfer: For cancellations made between 3 to 7 days prior to the workshop, you have the option of receiving a 50% refund or transferring your spot to the next available workshop. If there is no complimentary workshop you will receive a 50% refund. 
• No Refund/Transfer: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

DEBUT workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Workshop spots are transferable, if you are unable to make your workshop, send a friend! Call or text us to let us know of the switch.
