Introducing our brand-new workshop just in time for Valentines Day! Create a delightful matching bralette and underwear set tailored to your style and comfort. We will be using the Seamwork patterns Robin + Fable for this workshop. We welcome women of all sizes and shapes to join us on this creative journey. Pattern sizing is available from 00 - 26.

This experience includes 9 hours of instruction. All your materials are included in this workshop incl. fabric and notions. You will receive an email notification to choose the colour scheme you would like. 

Workshop Dates and Times

This workshop is 10.5 hours total, split over 3 days.

Pre-requisite for this workshop 

For our project-based workshops we require the attendee to know basics of how to use a sewing machine including winding the bobbin and threading the machine. In addition, you have practiced basic stitches and stitching in a straight line. If you have never sewed before we request that you first take our course Intro to Machine Sewing to prepare.

 Skills you will learn and practice: 

• Determining your size and tracing a pattern
• Laying out and cutting knit fabric
• Sewing with knit fabric 
• Sewing adjustable straps
• Sewing with lace 
• Inserting elastic 
• Pinning and ironing
• Hemming knit fabric

Additionally, you receive:

• 10.5 hours with an expert instructor
• Seamwork patterns Robin + Fable with instructions to take home. 
• Access the sewing studio for free during the term of the course.
• A 15% discount on any additional materials you'd like to purchase in-store during your workshop.

Don't forget to add your workshop dates to your calendar as soon as you have registered. About a week prior to your workshop you will receive an email outlining further details of the workshop including what you will learn, what you need to bring, and our cancellation policy. The email will also include our class waiver that will need to be signed online prior to attending the workshop.

At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them.

Full payment of the workshop is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate on their own in the workshop unless otherwise stated. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Participants between the ages 8 - 13 years of age can participate in the workshop as long as a paying adult participating as well. 

Cancellation policy 

Our cancellation policy will change as of April 8th 2024. Changes to the policy help us to provide a better experience to all of our clients. Below is our new class cancellation policy that will take into effect as of April 8th 2024. 

- Full Refund: Available for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date.
- 50% Refund or Transfer: For cancellations made between 3 to 7 days prior to the workshop, you have the option of receiving a 50% refund or transferring your spot to the next available workshop. If there is no complimentary workshop you will receive a 50% refund. 
- No Refund/Transfer: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

DEBUT workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Workshop spots are transferable, if you are unable to make your workshop, send a friend! Call or text us to let us know of the switch.
