Easy Woven Top Workshop - In-Person Sewing Workshop at 5 King Street, Dundas

Create your own Easy Woven Top with our workshop for all levels. This simple sewing pattern can be personalized with different fabrics, making it a versatile and stylish everyday top. Perfect for sewers of all levels, from beginner to experienced.

The Skipper Top and Dress features a relaxed and breezy fit with a scoop neck and mini cap sleeves. It comes in 3 views - cropped top, mini dress, and midi dress - all designed for a flattering silhouette. Make a joyful and creative projects this January. 

Pattern includes sizes XXS - 6XL (Bust 31” - 64” / 79cm - 162cm)

Tuesdays Jan 7th, 14th, & 21st - 5:30pm -8:00pm

You should already know how to:

• Trace your pattern
• Thread a sewing machine with some help
• Use basic stitches like straight stitch and zig-zag stitch

You will learn:

• The step-by-step process of creating a simple wearable item/garment 
• Applying those essential garment-making techniques (as taught in Garment Basics and Intro to Machine Sewing).

Don't forget to add your workshop dates to your calendar as soon as you have registered. About a week prior to your workshop you will receive an email outlining further details of the workshop including what you will learn, what you need to bring, and our cancellation policy. The email will also include our class waiver that will need to be signed online prior to attending the workshop.

At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them.

Full payment of the workshop is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate on their own in the workshop unless otherwise stated. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Participants between the ages 8 - 13 years of age can participate in the workshop as long as a paying adult participating as well. 

Cancellation policy 

• Full Refund: Available for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date.
• 50% Refund or Transfer: For cancellations made between 3 to 7 days prior to the workshop, you have the option of receiving a 50% refund or transferring your spot to the next available workshop. If there is no complimentary workshop you will receive a 50% refund. 
• No Refund/Transfer: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

DEBUT workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Workshop spots are transferable, if you are unable to make your workshop, send a friend! Call or text us to let us know of the switch.
