In this fundamental sewing technique, you'll create a precise pattern that mirrors your unique body shape. A block/sloper serves as the starting point for crafting perfectly fitted clothing.
Join our workshop to learn how to sew a pants block (sloper) and unlock the secrets to tailoring garments that fit you like a glove. Discover the art of customization and gain the skills to bring your fashion visions to life, one well-fitted piece at a time.
This workshop is 12 hours total. This workshop is limited to 5 attendees.
Pre-requisite for this workshop
This workshop is part of our advanced workshops series. In order to achieve the course objectives it is expected that attendees have made a few garments already and are comfortable using beginner patterns on their own. Attendees may be required to complete homework in between the classes.

Don't forget to add your workshop dates to your calendar as soon as you have registered. About a week prior to your workshop you will receive an email outlining further details of the workshop including what you will learn, what you need to bring, and our cancellation policy. The email will also include our class waiver that will need to be signed online prior to attending the workshop.

At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them.

Full payment of the workshop is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate on their own in the workshop unless otherwise stated. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Participants between the ages 8 - 13 years of age can participate in the workshop as long as a paying adult participating as well.
Cancellation policy
- Full Refund: Available for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date.
- 50% Refund or Transfer: For cancellations made between 3 to 7 days prior to the workshop, you have the option of receiving a 50% refund or transferring your spot to the next available workshop. If there is no complimentary workshop you will receive a 50% refund.
- No Refund/Transfer: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.
DEBUT workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Workshop spots are transferable, if you are unable to make your workshop, send a friend! Call or text us to let us know of the switch.
