Friday Sew-Alongs with Nakita

Join our new FREE Friday sew-along series, hosted by Nakita.

Unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life and meet us at the relaxing and calm Main Fabric Studio. Take some much-needed "me time" and make something for yourself that you will wear and love all summer long.

December Project - Plover Pouch 
Fridays December 6th, 13th, & 20th - 1:30pm - 4:00pm 

You should already know how to:

• Independently thread and adjust the sewing machine
• Trace and cut fabric with some guidance
• Read simple pattern instructions 

Sew-Along Guidelines:

• Deposit Required - A $25 deposit secures your spot and boosts commitment. Though the deposit is non-refundable, attend all sessions to earn a $25 Main Fabric gift card—our little "thank you" for sticking through!
  
  
• Sewing Project - All participants will work on the same pattern, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Please be prepared to purchase and print your pattern; our Main Fabric store happily offers a printing service if needed.
  
  
• Instruction Style - Unlike a traditional paid workshop, Nakita will be available for guidance while working on the same project. Participants should come prepared with basic sewing skills to ensure a smooth experience.
  
  
• Special Note - By joining our sew-along, you agree to let us capture the moments! Photos and videos taken during the sessions may be used for marketing and to celebrate our community's achievements on social media.

We encourage participants who can attend all sessions as we are our intent is to build community and complete the project. If you are unable to commit the three session series - please wait for a future series when you are available. Your $25 deposit will be returned to you in the form of a $25 gift card ONLY if you attend all 3 sessions.

Don't forget to add your workshop dates to your calendar as soon as you have registered. About a week prior to your workshop you will receive an email outlining further details of the workshop including what you will learn, what you need to bring, and our cancellation policy. The email will also include our class waiver that will need to be signed online prior to attending the workshop.

At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them.

Full payment of the workshop is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate on their own in the workshop unless otherwise stated. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Participants between the ages 8 - 13 years of age can participate in the workshop as long as a paying adult participating as well. 

Cancellation policy 

• Full Refund: Available for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date.
• 50% Refund or Transfer: For cancellations made between 3 to 7 days prior to the workshop, you have the option of receiving a 50% refund or transferring your spot to the next available workshop. If there is no complimentary workshop you will receive a 50% refund. 
• No Refund/Transfer: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

DEBUT workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Workshop spots are transferable, if you are unable to make your workshop, send a friend! Call or text us to let us know of the switch.
