Did you take our introductory courses and now you really want to make something more advanced? This workshop is for you! For these sessions you will make the I AM Pattern's ARTEMIS (for men, women or kids).
Workshop Dates and Times
Wednesdays, March 26th & April 2nd
This workshop is 6-hours total split over two 3-hour sessions.
Pre-requisite for this workshop
For our project-based workshops we recommend the attendee to know basics of how to use a sewing machine including winding the bobbin and threading the machine. In addition, you have practiced basic stitches and stitching in a straight line. If you have never sewed before we recommend that you first take our course Intro to Machine Sewing to prepare.

Skills you will learn and practice:
- Determining your size and tracing a pattern
- Laying out and cutting fabric on grain
- Sewing in a pocket (Orchard Dress)
- Topstitching and Edge-stitching
- Pinning and ironing
- Neckband binding
- Making bias tape
Additionally, you receive:

Don't forget to add your workshop dates to your calendar as soon as you have registered. About a week prior to your workshop you will receive an email outlining further details of the workshop including what you will learn, what you need to bring, and our cancellation policy. The email will also include our class waiver that will need to be signed online prior to attending the workshop.

At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them.

Full payment of the workshop is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate on their own in the workshop unless otherwise stated. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Participants between the ages 8 - 13 years of age can participate in the workshop as long as a paying adult participating as well.
Cancellation policy
- Full Refund: Available for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date.
- 50% Refund or Transfer: For cancellations made between 3 to 7 days prior to the workshop, you have the option of receiving a 50% refund or transferring your spot to the next available workshop. If there is no complimentary workshop you will receive a 50% refund.
- No Refund/Transfer: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.
DEBUT workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Workshop spots are transferable, if you are unable to make your workshop, send a friend! Call or text us to let us know of the switch.
