Join us to make your own Plover Pouch! This workshop is perfect for beginners with some experience and intermediate sewists looking to expand their skills. Learn how to install zippers, apply structured interfacing, and add functional interior pockets as you construct your pouch.
Participants can either bring their own materials or purchase a Plover Pouch Kit, which includes everything needed for the class. By the end, you’ll walk away with a finished pouch and new techniques to use on future projects!
How it Works:
Purchase this gift for you and/or your loved one. No need to worry about dates yet—workshop dates will be set in January, and we’ll reach out to all gift recipients to coordinate a time that works for everyone. All workshops will begin in February. Book two or more workshops and enjoy a 15% discount!
Upon check-out in the NOTES section please add the gift recipient(s) name and email address for our collection. Don't worry your gift will remain a surprise as we will not be contacting any gift recipients until January. After booking, you’ll receive a downloadable gift printout to fill in and present to your loved one.
You should already know how to:
- Trace your pattern
- Thread a sewing machine with some help
- Use basic stitches like straight stitch and zig-zag stitch

Don't forget to add your workshop dates to your calendar as soon as you have registered. About a week prior to your workshop you will receive an email outlining further details of the workshop including what you will learn, what you need to bring, and our cancellation policy. The email will also include our class waiver that will need to be signed online prior to attending the workshop.

At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them.

Full payment of the workshop is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate on their own in the workshop unless otherwise stated. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Participants between the ages 8 - 13 years of age can participate in the workshop as long as a paying adult participating as well.
Cancellation policy
- Full Refund: Available for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date.
- 50% Refund or Transfer: For cancellations made between 3 to 7 days prior to the workshop, you have the option of receiving a 50% refund or transferring your spot to the next available workshop. If there is no complimentary workshop you will receive a 50% refund.
- No Refund/Transfer: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.
DEBUT workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Workshop spots are transferable, if you are unable to make your workshop, send a friend! Call or text us to let us know of the switch.
