Field Bag

The Field Bag was originally designed and sold by Fringe Supply Co. and is now available to home sewers as a sewing pattern! The Field Bag is ideal for organizing knitting, sewing, embroidery, or other works-in-progress. It features a roomy main compartment with interior pockets designed for corralling tools, patterns, and miscellany; grommets for managing multiple strands of yarn; and a handy wrist strap.

Techniques involved include sewing a straight seam, working with heavy fabrics, and setting grommets.

Follow these steps to purchase a digital pattern and have it printed at Main Fabric. You will be able to get started on your pattern within the week! 

1. Click the link in the DETAILS above to visit the designer's product page. 
2. Choose your size range (if applicable) and for type choose "PDF" or "Digital".
3. Complete your online transaction through the pattern designer's website. 
4. Download your files to your computer. 
5. Visit Main Fabric's PDF Printing page and upload the file that has "A0" in the file title. 
6. Complete your online transaction with Main Fabric.
7. You will receive notification once your print is ready for pick-up at the store.
8. Start Sewing!

Digital/PDF pattern printing may be new to you and changing your routine requires effort that you may not have time for. We get it! But take a look at the digital pattern benefits below:

We ship within Canada and the USA through Canada Post or UPS.

Shipping Domestically: Shipping costs are flat rate based on your total purchase price before tax. Shipping is free on orders over $150 CAD. Shipping is a flat rate of $12 CAD on purchases of $149.99 CAD or less. Express shipping rates are available on some packages. 

Shipping to USA: Shipping costs are flat rate based on your total purchase price before tax. Shipping is free on orders over $225 CAD. Shipping is a flat rate of $25 CAD on purchases of $224.99 CAD or less. Express shipping rates are available on some packages. 

For local sewers - Curb-side pick-up is free and is an available option at checkout. Customers will receive an email within 48 hours notifying them that their package is ready for pick-up. Customers must pick-up their package during normal store hours, bring order confirmation for proof of purchase.
