This page is for recurring members who would like to upgrade their membership to a Serger Plus membership. Serger Plus memberships include all of the benefits of our sewing membership plus these additional perks:
- Access to our Sergers* in the studio and complimentary use of the serger thread (bring your own thread is available if you want a specific colour)
- 10% OFF all of your purchases (no exclusions)
Serger Plus memberships are only available to members who have taken or are registered for Serger Basics.

Sewing memberships cost $60 per month, first sign-up is for 3 months minimum, after the first 3 months a month-to-month option can be put into place.
Please see Membership Policies below to see information of your start date, and cancellation policy. Rest assured, your membership term does not start on the day of purchase, we want you to have as much studio time as possible so your membership term starts when you are ready.
Soon after your purchase (within 24 hrs) you will receive an email outlining further details of your membership, your membership waiver, and most importantly to schedule a date and time for your PFAFF Sewing 101 course so that you can start sewing!
If you are exempt from PFAFF Sewing 101 (have taken our workshop Intro to Machine Sewing), the email should reflect that but if we missed something let us know!
At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them. If you are having loud, interruptive conversations you may be asked to step outside.

Full payment of a 3 month membership is required at the time of registration to reserve your membership. Your membership will begin on the date that you take your PFAFF Sewing 101 course, or if you are exempt from PFAFF Sewing 101 then your membership will begin on your first day. Your membership will expire 3 months from the start date. If you have not begun the use of your membership within 1 month of purchase, your membership term will automatically begin and expiry 3 months from that point (4 months from purchase). Participants must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a membership.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations made within 72 hours of purchase will be issued a full refund for your purchase.
Cancellations made between 3 days - 2 weeks of purchase will be refunded for the membership less 1 month cost ($60).
Cancellations made between 2 weeks to the end of the membership term will not be refunded unless in extenuating circumstances. Please email us at info@mainfabric.com.
Memberships are transferable, however if a membership is transferred to a new client, the new member will need to take PFAFF Sewing 101 at their expense to begin using the membership.
Cancellations on month-to-month memberships can be made anytime, you will not be issued a refund for payments already made, however you will be able to use the studio for the remainder of your paid month and will not be charged for any additional months.
