Join our inaugural Halloween Workshop, an open and supportive environment where all costume projects are welcome.

Work with our expert sewing instructor, a seasoned professional with a lifetime of experience in crafting a wide array of costumes. From simple, charming Halloween outfits to intricate, show-stopping theatrical costumes, their expertise spans the entire spectrum of costume design and creation

Whether you are sewing for your kids or yourself you will enjoy the camaraderie and accountability of sewing with a group, ensuring you complete your costume in time for Halloween. Start early to avoid last-minute rushing and be prepared for any Halloween invitations that come your way. Improve your sewing skills and learn new techniques as you create your unique costume.

Seasonal Class Offering
Wednesday 16th - 5:30pm - 8:30pm (Class 1)
Saturday Oct 19th & 26th 4:15pm - 7:15pm (Class 2 and 3)

You should already know how to:

• Thread a sewing machine
• Sew a straight stitch and a zig-zag stitch
• Read a sewing pattern with guidance

Prepare for Class: 

• Have your costume idea, drawing, or pattern ready to show the instructor as well as the materials you will need to make your creation come to life. 
  
• A free pre-class consultation answering your questions about your chosen costume and fabric/notions that are required to get started!

A 15% discount on the fabric and supplies purchased for the course from Main Fabric.

Don't forget to add your workshop dates to your calendar as soon as you have registered. About a week prior to your workshop you will receive an email outlining further details of the workshop including what you will learn, what you need to bring, and our cancellation policy. The email will also include our class waiver that will need to be signed online prior to attending the workshop.

At the studio we allow water and light snacks around the cutting table and sewing machines, other types of drinks and larger snacks can be enjoyed in our store sitting area. Cell phones, devices are great learning tools, you are welcome to bring and use them.

Full payment of the workshop is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate on their own in the workshop unless otherwise stated. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Participants between the ages 8 - 13 years of age can participate in the workshop as long as a paying adult participating as well. 

Cancellation policy 

• Full Refund: Available for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date.
• 50% Refund or Transfer: For cancellations made between 3 to 7 days prior to the workshop, you have the option of receiving a 50% refund or transferring your spot to the next available workshop. If there is no complimentary workshop you will receive a 50% refund. 
• No Refund/Transfer: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

DEBUT workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Workshop spots are transferable, if you are unable to make your workshop, send a friend! Call or text us to let us know of the switch.
